Daniel Lee is a Singapore-based leader in institutional digital assets, appointed CEO of Cactus Custody — Matrixport Group's institutional custody arm — in January 2026. He was previously Head of Web3 at Banking Circle, where he led the launch of EURI, the EU's first bank-issued, MiCA-compliant stablecoin. Over a prior 22-year career at DBS he was a founding member and Head of Business & Listing for the DBS Digital Exchange, helping build its crypto exchange, security-token exchange and digital-asset custody offerings. He holds an MBA, an LL.M in Commercial Law, and a First-Class Honours degree in Psychology.
