Singapore, August 11, 2026 — Quark, the institutional DeFi digital asset investment fund, today announced it has adopted Chainlink, the industry-standard oracle platform, to upgrade Singapore’s regulated onchain capital markets infrastructure.
As part of this integration, Quark’s DeFi fund, the first compliant Collective Investment Scheme (CIS), capital markets product registered with the Monetary Authority of Singapore, is leveraging Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) along with the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) to unlock distribution and power the next generation of regulated digital assets for institutional investors across Singapore and the broader region.
This move represents a major milestone for the future of compliant, institutional-grade digital asset infrastructure across Asia.
Establishing a New Standard for Institutional Digital Finance Infrastructure
As global financial markets accelerate toward digitization and asset tokenization, financial institutions worldwide are increasingly embracing onchain financial products, digital assets, and next-generation capital market infrastructure.
However, institutional adoption of digital assets continues to face several major challenges, including:
- Limited transparency and verifiability of onchain asset reserves
- Fragmented liquidity across blockchain ecosystems
- Insufficient integration between traditional regulatory frameworks and blockchain-based financial infrastructure
- Growing institutional demand for compliance, security, and operational transparency
Quark’s adoption of Chainlink represents an important step in solving these challenges and building a more secure, compliant, transparent, and globally interoperable digital financial ecosystem.
Integrating Chainlink Infrastructure for Institutional-Grade Digital Finance
As part of the integration, Quark is adopting Chainlink infrastructure to unlock enhanced security and transparency for regulated digital financial products.
Specifically, Quark is adopting Chainlink CCIP to power secure transfers of regulated digital assets across public and private blockchains. CCIP establishes enterprise-grade foundational infrastructure for institutional digital asset distribution and global capital mobility.
Chainlink CCIP enables:
- Secure cross-chain digital asset transfers
- Unified multi-chain asset management
- Cross-border digital asset settlement
- Programmable financial infrastructure for institutional markets
Quark is also leveraging CRE as a unified orchestration layer for building institutional-grade smart contracts that are data-connected, compliance-ready, private, and interoperable across blockchains and existing systems. CRE enables Quark to build secure net asset value (NAV) feeds, required by tokenized fund products and publish daily NAV calculations of the Quark CIS directly onchain.
CRE provides a secure execution environment where offchain computation and coordination can happen securely, while remaining verifiable and decentralized, which allows NAV to be recorded and publicly accessible onchain. This ensures operational transparency for institutional investors by providing independently verifiable asset visibility while delivering CEXs with a reliable benchmark for calculating LTV and liquidation thresholds.
Quark’s adoption of CRE unlocks:
- Reliable delivery of trusted traditional offchain financial data onchain, eliminating manual administrative work
- Increased transparency to strengthen investor confidence
- The highest standard for verifiable onchain finance
- Stronger institutional trust in digital financial products
Accelerating the Future of Capital Markets in Asia
This integration represents more than a technology integration. It reflects a broader transformation of Asia’s capital markets as financial infrastructure increasingly moves onchain.
Looking ahead, Chainlink and Quark are continuing to build new digital finance solutions, particularly around:
- Regulated onchain financial products
- Institutional-grade cross-chain digital asset liquidity infrastructure
- Next-generation programmable capital market systems
Both believe the future of digital finance extends beyond asset digitization itself. The long-term opportunity lies in building compliant, trusted, and globally scalable capital market infrastructure capable of serving institutional investors worldwide.
Leadership Commentary
Niki Ariyasinghe, Vice President of Asia-Pacific and Middle East, stated:
Digital finance is entering a new era where the question is no longer if regulated institutions will move onchain, but how they are able to do it with the security, compliance, and interoperability required at scale. We’re excited to see more regulated financial institutions adopting Chainlink standards to build compliant, institutional-grade digital finance solutions in Singapore and across the region.
Jason Wu, Co-founder & CIO of Quark, added:
The digital asset industry is entering a new phase of development. The next stage of competition will not simply be about financial products themselves, but about building the compliant infrastructure required for institutional participation. Through our integration with Chainlink, we’re bringing regulated digital financial products into a new era of transparency, security, and global interoperability.
Looking Ahead
This integration marks the first phase of a long-term strategic relationship between Chainlink and Quark.
Quark is also the world’s first DeFi fund to receive a Carbon Neutral Operations Rating certified by TÜV SÜD, underscoring its long-term commitment to embedding climate action across corporate governance, product stewardship, and investment philosophy. Moving forward, both parties will continue building digital financial infrastructure and work together to accelerate the transition toward a more open, efficient, and trusted global capital market ecosystem.
